The vision behind Namirembe Guest House began with a compassionate missionary leader who believed that everyone serving far from home deserved a peaceful place to rest.
Reverend Samuel Hartley (placeholder name) arrived in Uganda in the early 1920s with a gentle spirit, a deep love for people, and a heart for the Church. He spent his early days walking the slopes of Namirembe Hill, meeting families, praying with communities, and listening to their stories.
