About Namirembe Guesthouse
A legacy of warm hospitality on Cathedral Hill -- where Kampala's heritage meets modern comfort.
Heritage & Hospitality
Rooted in History, Growing in Grace
Perched atop Namirembe Hill, just steps from the historic St. Paul's Cathedral, our guesthouse has been welcoming travellers to Kampala for over two decades. What began as a modest retreat for visiting clergy has grown into a beloved haven for tourists, business travellers and families from across the globe.
We remain committed to the values that have defined us from the start -- genuine warmth, thoughtful service and a deep reverence for our unique setting above the city. Every stay at Namirembe is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply and experience Uganda's true heart.
Today, our 20 lovingly appointed rooms, lush tropical gardens and farm-to-table restaurant continue to tell the story of a Kampala that balances tradition with the rhythms of modern life.
